Multi-purpose Recreation Center to be built in Little Tokyo
Little Tokyo Service Center receives approval from the City of Los Angeles to begin process of building facility
(Los Angeles, CA) On September 23, 2008, the Little Tokyo Recreation Center, which is a project of Little Tokyo Service Center (LTSC), was finally given the green light to move forward after many years of struggle to locate an appropriate site. The City Council voted unanimously to grant LTSC a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to build a multi-use facility for sports and community activities in Little Tokyo, just east of Downtown Los Angeles.
